Deadline for payment of tax on wealth for 2019 expires in Moldova on 25 December

Chisinau, 29 November /MOLDPRES/ - The deadline for the payment of the tax on wealth for 2019 expires on 25 December. The State Fiscal Service (SFS) made statements to this effect today.
According to SFS, the concerned tax is paid by private people who own real estate with purpose of living and vacation houses (except for grounds), the estimated overall value of which is 1.5 million lei and more and the total area is 120 square metres and more.
The tax payers who must pay the tax on wealth are informed through payment notice about the sum due to be paid.
The people failing to pay the tax in the term established, run the risk of paying a penalty worth 0.0329% for each day of delay.
