New deputy parliament speaker appointed in Moldova

Chisinau, 29 November /MOLDPRES/ - An MP of the Party of Socialists (PSRM), Vlad Batrincea, today was appointed as deputy parliament speaker. The majority of the MPs present at the plenary meeting voted for Batrincea.
Vlad Batrincea will hold the position which remained vacant, after Ion Ceban had been elected general mayor of Chisinau.
The new deputy speaker is 38 years old; he is jurist by profession and starting from December 2014, he had acted as lawmaker. Batrincea is also the PSRM executive secretary and has held the office of head of the Socialists’ faction in parliament till today.
