Moldovan president has working meeting with ambassador of China

Chisinau, 29 November /MOLDPRES/ - President Igor Dodon today had a working meeting with Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Moldova Zhang Yinghong, the presidential press service has reported.
At the meeting, the head of state stressed Moldova’s interest in the advancement of the bilateral relations with China to a qualitatively new level, for the benefit of the two nations.
The Moldovan president thanked the Chinese government for the constant technical assistance provided to Moldova’s cabinet in more sectors. At the same time, the head of state noted that the current governance planned to carry out big infrastructure projects, including by attracting Chinese investors. In the context, Igor Dodon invited Chinese partners to actively participate in these projects.
The Moldovan president also spoke out for turning to account, at its true value, of Moldova’s commercial and economic potential, as well as for continuing the negotiations on speeding up the working out and signing of the Free Trade Agreement between Moldova and China.
In the end of the meeting, Igor Dodon highlighted the country’s interest in the strengthening and maintaining of high-level contacts, including through organizing mutual visits of both states’ top leadership.
