Moldova, India might sign free trade agreement

Chisinau, 29 November /MOLDPRES/ - Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Aureliu Ciocoi and Bucharest-based Ambassador of India to Moldova Thanglura Darlong have discussed the importance of developing the cooperation relations with India, both the bilateral ones and within international organizations, the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s public diplomacy, strategic communication and media communication service has reported.
The officials agreed on identifying opportunities to boost the commercial exchanges between both states, in order to foster the cooperation in the information technologies sector and to create industrial platforms in Moldova.
In the context, the ambassador appreciated the quality of the Moldovan wines and backed the idea to consider the opportunity of signing a free trade agreement between the two countries.
The Moldovan diplomacy head stressed that the opening of a diplomatic mission in New Dehli in the near future would qualitatively contribute to the advancement of the ties between the two states.
