ACUM bloc's MPs file simple motion against Moldovan defence minister

Chisinau, 29 November /MOLDPRES/ - The MPs of the ACUM bloc today filed a simple motion against Defence Minister Victor Gaiciuc, thereby demanding the latter’s resignation.

The ACUM bloc’s lawmakers say that Victor Gaiciuc would have made more statements and “backed the Russian aggression against Ukraine in a declaration made in public space, defying the territorial integrity of Ukraine.”

The text of the simple motion was submitted to the parliament speaker and in 14 days it is to be subjected to discussions in parliament. The simple motion is discussed accompanied by the opinion of the competent standing commission. The issuance of the opinion will be made on a period of up to seven working days after the date when the motion was filed.
