Moldovan PM participates in opening of factory producing LED lighting sources

Chisinau, 30 November /MOLDPRES/ – Prime Minister, Ion Chicu, has participated on Saturday, 30 November, at inauguration of a new factory in Chisinau, producing LED lighting sources, with a total area of ​​6,500 m2. For the start, the contractor has employed 50 employees, but expecting to offer over 300 jobs, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.

PM has congratulated the entrepreneur and said that he is pleased to participate in events that contribute to the development of the economy of Moldova. He has assured that the Government will create all the needed conditions to support business people.

"Increasing the efficiency of economic activities is the basic concern of the Executive. I should like to thank the entrepreneurs for their courage, work and confidence that there can be developed business in Moldova, its economy can be boosted, while the confidence of the citizens increased in tomorrow. I anchor all my strength in the name of this desire – Moldova will be reborn, strengthened and there will increase the confidence of the citizens in tomorrow!”.

The Premier has also thanked the external partners which supported the opening of LuminaLED factory. So far, it has been invested an amount of MDL 36 mln in the project, but the total amount of investments is estimated at €03 mln.

So far, the factory has established reliable partnerships with more partners in EU, Italy, Poland, Romania. The company will produce LED bulbs, tubes and panels, the products being designed and developed in its own Research and Design Department of the factory, in accordance with all EU rules and standards.
