Moldovan president calls for meeting of Supreme Security Council

Chisinau, 02 December /MOLDPRES/ – The Supreme Security Council will meet this week to discuss issues related to the gas supply to Moldova after 01 January 2020. The announcement has been made, on Monday, 02 December, by the head of state, Igor Dodon, after the working meeting held this morning with Prime Minister, Ion Chicu, and Speaker of Parliament, Zinaida Grecianii.
According to Dodon, the topic of the theft of the billion will also be included on the agenda of Council. "We are interested in the position of the new General Prosecutor in this file and we want to see the process of assets tracking," said President.
He has added that at the Council meeting, which most likely will take place on Wednesday, 04 December, it will be also discussed the issue of energy sector. Igor Dodon has said that there is no certainty regarding the transit of gas through Ukraine, and it will be discussed alternative scenarios with the structures in charge.
The third topic, which will be on the agenda of the Council, concerns the concession procedure of the Chisinau International Airport (AIC) and the airport charges taken by the new managers. Also, it will be examined the scandal of interceptions.
