Chisinau, 19 December /MOLDPRES/ – The member of the Audiovisual Council of Moldova (CA), Corneliu Mihalache, has stated in an exclusively interview to agency that the modification of the Law regarding the securing of info area of Moldova, adopted in 2017, would create tensions in society.
"The Moldovan politics is unpredictable, the anti – propaganda law could be modified. If this happens, it would arise tensions in society," said Mihalache.
According to him, this law appeared very late, Moldova being the last CIS member state to accept the transmission of news from another state on its territory. "It is a good law. An independent and sovereign state like Moldova has the liability not to admit the behavioural change of its citizens throughout news and broadcasts from another state," said Mihalache.
The law on securing info area was voted by Parliament in 2017.
