Benefits of participants in combat actions to increase

Chisinau, 20 December /MOLDPRES/- The allocations of the participants in the war for territorial integrity and independence of the country and the war in Afghanistan will increase gradually next year. A draft law to this effect was adopted today in the final reading by the parliament.

The initiative belongs to the Democratic MPs and provides that the allowances will be increased from 100 to 300 lei per month starting from 2020 and up to 500 lei per month - from 2021.

Under the draft, starting next year, more than 35,500 participants will benefit from higher benefits.

The allowances for these categories of persons have not been indexed or increased since 2012.
