Moldovan PM attends weekly meeting

Chisinau, 23 December /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister Ion Chicu attended a joint weekly meeting today together with President Igor Dodon and Speaker Zinaida Greceanîi, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.
At the end of the meeting, the three officials made press statements.
Prime Minister Chicu made a review of the previous week and this week's agenda. He said that the biggest beneficiary of this format of discussions is the government: “I can't imagine how for a month we would have been able to prepare and promote a set of laws that are extremely important for the normal activity of the country. I am referring to the budgetary-fiscal laws that are usually voted since July. As a result of this process, already on January 2, 2020 we will be able to pay the salaries of the budget, the pensions and we will offer to the 600 thousand people the supplement of 700 lei promised ”, he said.
The prime minister said that this week will be full of activities and will include some trips to the territory, as well as the cabinet meeting, which agenda is full.
