Meteorologists announced yellow code of strong wind

Chisinau, 23 December /MOLDPRES/- The State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS) announced until 24 December a yellow code of strong wind.

According to the meteorologists, the south-east wind gusting up to 15-20 meters per second is expected in this period. Hence the weather will cool down.

According to SHS data, as of 24 December throughout the country, the air temperature will drop below 8 degrees Celsius, maintaining a cooling trend. Rain and sleet are expected in all regions of the country.

In the case of the Yellow Code, the weather conditions are potentially dangerous, the forecast meteorological phenomena are common for the territory of the country, but may temporarily become dangerous for certain socio-economic activities.
