U.S. dollar appreciates against Moldovan leu

Chisinau, 23 December /MOLDPRES/ – U.S. dollar (USD) appreciates in upcoming 02 days, and European single currency (EUR) cheapens against Moldovan leu (MDL).

According to the official rates of foreign exchange displayed by the National Bank of Moldova (BNM), USD costs, on Tuesday and Wednesday, 24 – 25 December, MDL 17.29 for $1, with MDL 0.02 more than today. On the other hand, EUR depreciates by MDL 0.01 down the official price of MDL 19.16 for €1.

The cost of Romanian leu (RON) has a value of MDL 04.01 for L1, similar to the one registered today. And the quotation of Russian rouble (RUB) remains unchanged, at a level of MDL 0.27 for ₽1, similar like Ukrainian hryvnia (UAH), which preserves its price of MDL 0.74 for ₴1.
