Ambassador of Georgia ends mandate in Moldova

Chisinau, 23 December /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Ion Chicu today met Ambassador of Georgia to Moldova Merab Antadze, who ends his mandate in the country, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
The PM thanked the diplomat for his work in Moldova and contribution to the development of the Moldovan-Georgian partnership. The prime minister appreciated the importance of the permanent dialogue and usefulness of the exchange of experience in the process of implementation of the European norms.
„Our countries have always been in good friendship relations; this is due including to the fact that we have similar problems and the lessons of the past teach us that the problems are solved easier together,” the prime minister said.
The officials spoke out for the preservation of the friendship ties between Moldova and Georgia and boosting the inter-state cooperation, especially on the economic dimension.
Merab Antadze informed Ion Chicu about the intention of a Swiss company, which has business in Georgia, to extend in Moldova as well.
In the end of the meeting, the ambassador of Georgia wished Prime Minister Chicu success and conveyed to Moldova a congratulatory message on the occasion of the holidays.
