New parliamentary elections to be held in Moldova's centre district in mid – March

Chisinau, 27 December /MOLDPRES/ – The new parliamentary elections (APN) in uninominal constituency №38, Hancesti district, will take place on 15 March 2020. The decision has been taken by the members of Central Election Commission (CEC), on Friday.
According to CEC's info and mass media communication service, it will be allocated an amount of over MDL 04 mln 226 thousand on it.
The inhabitants of constituency №38, Hancesti district, will return to vote, after MP elected on 24 February 2018, democrat Alexandru Botnari, resigned position of MP in favour of mayor of Hancesti.
There have announced to apply more representatives of political parties for seat of MP of Hancesti.
According to electoral law (LE), if an MP elected in a uninominal constituency resigns, there are to be organised APN there.
