Moldovan, Ukrainian companies sign agreement ensuring supply, transit of natural gas as of 1 January 2020

Chisinau, 27 December /MOLDPRES/ - The Operator of Ukraine’s Gas Transport System, Moldovatransgaz and Moldovagaz today signed a tripartite agreement on operation for all points of inter-connection of the transport systems of Moldova and Ukraine (Alexeevka, Grebeniky, Căuşeni, Ananyiv, Limanskoe), which will ensure the supplies and transit of natural gas starting from 1 January 2020.

Moldovagaz also informed that the sides had signed the contracts on the providing of natural gas transport services on the territory of Moldova and Ukraine for the cross-border consumers from both states.

The contracts will enter into force on 30 December 2019, after they are approved by the Council of Observers of the Moldovagaz stock company.
