Moldova - open to strengthening bilateral legal framework with China

Chisinau, 3 January /MOLDPRES/- Aspects of cooperation within international organizations, complementing the existing bilateral legal framework, bilateral political dialogue and Chinese technical assistance programs offered to the Republic of Moldova were discussed on 2 January at a meeting between Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Aureliu Ciocoi and Zhang Yinghong, Ambassador of China to Chisinau, the MAEIE’s press service has reported.

The officials broached cooperation within international organisations. China is interested in strengthening partnership with Moldova, by promoting bilateral political dialogue and boosting activities regarding some assistance projects in the implementation stage and planned.

The Moldovan minister noted that the Republic of Moldova appreciates the help of the Chinese partners and is open to strengthening the bilateral legal framework. At the same time, assistance was requested in order to improve the infrastructure and optimize the energy sector.
