Record of fiscal obligations related to local taxes to be made electronically in Moldova

Chisinau, 3 January /MOLDPRES/ - The record of the fiscal obligations related to the local taxes and will be made electronically as of 1 March 2020. The government took a decision to this effect today.

At the cabinet meeting, Finance Minister Serghei Puscuta said that the new amendments would allow simplifying and automating the entire process and would ensure the checking of the plenitude of calculation of the fiscal obligations, visualizing the debt registered in the case of non-evaluated objects, enforcing exemptions, a 15-per cent cut of the tax on movable assets and of the late-payment addition.

At the same time, the use of the automated information system, Payment of fiscal obligations through the service of collecting local taxes and duties, will improve the record of tax payers and the sums of taxes and duties calculated and collected.

More exactly, following the amendments made, the collections related to the sums of taxes and duties will be made electronically. The bill payable on the tax on movable assets and land tax will be generated and processed in the same way. At the same time, the late-payment addition will be calculated in the automated way.
