Chisinau, 13 January /MOLDPRES/ - Parliament Speaker Zinaida Greceanii, in an interview for Eurasia Expert publication, has said that the dynamic of export to the European Union dropped.
“The dynamic of the Moldovan exports to the European Union is decreasing. In 2018, the rate of Moldova’s exports to the European Union states was of 69.2 per cent; in 2019, this percentage was of only 65.7 per cent. The quotas of export provided by EU to Moldova are under the production capacities of Moldovan entrepreneurs,” the Moldovan parliament speaker said.
At a meeting of the Moldova – European Union Association Committee, held in Chisinau in late last October, Moldovan officials asked European partners to consider possibility of increasing the quotas of export for table grapes, plums and sweet cherries.
