Euro, U.S. dollar appreciate against Moldovan leu

Chisinau, 13 January /MOLDPRES/ - The single European currency, as well as the U.S. dollar appreciate in the beginning of this week.

According to the official exchange rates posted by the National Bank of Moldova (BNM), on 14 January, the euro will cost 19.31 lei, by 0.09 lei more against the end of the last week. The dollar will appreciate by 0.05 lei up to an official price of 17.37 lei.

The Romanian leu will appreciate too. BNM established an official exchange rate of 4.04 lei for this currency, up by 0.03 lei.

The value of the Russian rouble and the Ukrainian hryvnia will remain unchanged. The latter will cost, in continuation, 0.72 lei and the rouble will keep its price of 0.28 lei.
