Moldova's Agency of Intervention and Payments for Agriculture resumes process of payment of applications receined in 2019

Chisinau, 14 January /MOLDPRES/ - The Agency of Intervention and Payments for Agriculture (AIPA) this month resumed the process of payment of applications on demanding financial support from 2019, which remained uncovered because of the exhausting of the means of the National Fund for Development of Agriculture and Rural Environment (FNDAMR). The subsidization was resumed with the entrance into force of the state budget law for 2020.
In 2019, according to preliminary data, AIPA received a record number of 7,505 files on demanding financial support for 4,476 agricultural producers, worth more than one billion lei in all.
Thus, the state, through FNDAMR, committed to back the farmers who ruled to invest in the construction of greenhouses, creation of multiannual plantations, buying agricultural technology, development of the zoo-technical sector, ecological agriculture, products’ promotion, development of rural agro-tourist boarding houses, creation or extension of handicraft’s units, etc.
Under the state budget law, the National Fund for Development of Agriculture and Rural Environment amounts to one billion lei for 2020.
