Moldovan president has meeting with Russia's ambassador

Chisinau, 14 January /MOLDPRES/ - President Igor Dodon today had a working meeting with Ambassador of Russia to Moldova Oleg Vasnetsov, the presidential press service has reported.

The officials tackled the entire spectrum of the bilateral relations. The sides ascertained, with satisfaction, the significant strengthening of the strategic partnership between Moldova and Russia in 2019. At the same time, Igor Dodon and Oleg Vasnetsov pointed to the fact that there were multiple opportunities of consolidating the bilateral dialogue in all sectors of mutual interest.

The officials also considered the plan of activities of bilateral interaction for 2020. In the context, the head of state noted that special attention would be paid to marking the 75th Anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. It is worth mentioning that, at an invitation by Russian President Vladimir Putin, President Igor Dodon will participate in the festivities held on this occasion on the Red Square from Moscow.
