More cultural actions are held in Chisinau and all over Moldova, on the occasion of the 170th birthday anniversary of the great classical poet, Mihai Eminescu, and the National Culture Day. The events start with laying of flowers at the bust to Mihai Eminescu, followed by a recital of poets, actors and singers invited to the event, book presentations, on the Alley of Classics of the Romanian Literature, in the Stefan cel Mare public garden, at 10:00.

The Embassy of Romania in Chisinau informs that Romanian Ambassador to Moldova Daniel Ionita participates in the activities organized by the General Consulate of Romania in the Balti municipality, along with the local authorities, in the context of marking the National Culture Day, according to the following schedule:
• 10.25-10.50 – Public Institution Theoretical Lyceum Mihai Eminescu in front of the bust to the poet M. Eminescu from the lyceum’s yard – literary and musical activity dedicated to the poet.
• 11.00-11.20 – Laying flowers at the statue to Mihai Eminescu on the Alley of Classics.
• 12.00-14.00 – Schedule of scientific essays and artistic works dedicated to national poet Mihai Eminescu, at the Alecu Russo State University, Multipurpose Hall.
• 14.30-16.00 – Meeting with the business community from the Balti city at the headquarters of the city hall.
• 16.20-17.30 – Meeting with Most Reverend Father Antonie at the headquarters of the Balti Bishopric, the former one of Hotin.
• 17.50-18.30 – Meeting with the team of the Balti-based General Consulate, at the headquarters of the consulate.
