Moldovan PM conveys message on National Culture Day

Chisinau, 15 January /MOLDPRES/- Today Prime Minister Ion Chicu conveyed a message on the National Culture Day, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.

The message reads:

“Culture is one of the basic binders of a society and the level of culture of the society plays a decisive role in its well-being and prosperity.

The set of cultural values both unites us at present, as well as assures us a connection with the past, helping us to make projections in the future.

The National Culture Day is a good opportunity to mention the role of people, who have dedicated themselves to education and the arts, and to thank them for inspiration, dedication and strength.

We thank teachers, researchers, painters, writers, composers, sculptors, musicians, theater and cinema artists and all those who, through their daily performance, promote beauty, kindness and unity.

Only better, more educated and united will we be able to build a prosperous future in Moldova ”.
