Moldovan parliament to hold first meeting of new session in early February

Chisinau, 15 January /MOLDPRES/- The first plenary session of the new parliamentary session will be held on 6-7 February. Speaker Zinaida Greceanii made the statement at a working meeting with President Igor Dodon and Prime Minister Ion Chicu.
Lawmakers will return to work on 17 January, and subsequently the standing bureau will meet to decide when the first plenary session of the spring session will take place. "We are already working on the agenda of the meetings. Priority for us in this session will also be the monitoring of the implementation of the laws already adopted, including the budgetary ones ”, said Greceanii.
Under the regulation, the parliament meets in two ordinary sessions per year. The spring session begins in February and may not exceed the end of July. Autumn session starts in September and may not exceed the end of December.
