Moldova to be represented at Expo Dubai-2020 world exhibition

Chisinau, 22 January /MOLDPRES/ - Moldova will participate in the Expo Dubai-2020 world exhibition. A decision to this effect was approved at a cabinet meeting today.

According to Economics and Infrastructure Minister Anatol Usatai, “the participation in this prestigious exhibition will contribute to the promotion of the cultural values and economic achievements of Moldova, being also an opportunity to establish new business and cooperation relations on various segments.”

The government nominated the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Moldova to the United Arab Emirates as General Commissioner of the National Section, for a good organization of the country’s participation in the Dubai exhibition.

Expo Dubai- 2020 will be staged on 20 October 2020 – 10 April 2021 and is scheduled to be visited by 25 million people. .

Moldova participated in other international exhibitions, such as: World Expo Hannover -2000 (Germany), Expo Shanghai 2010 (China), World Expo Milano 2015 (Italy).
