Moldovan president meets Turkish minister of youth and sports

Chisinau, 22 January /MOLDPRES/ - President Igor Dodon, while at the Istanbul Airport, on his way to Tel Aviv, today had an unplanned working meeting with Minister of Youth and Sports from Turkey Mehmet Muharrem Kasapoğlu, the presidential press service has reported.

The officials discussed the march of the works for constructing the new stadium in Comrat (administrative centre of the south Moldova Gagauz autonomy), given that namely this Turkish department, at an instruction by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, builds the concerned object, which is be made available for use in several months.

The sides agreed that the stadium’s official inauguration takes place with the participation of Moldova’s leadership and representatives of the Turkish government.
