Chisinau, 23 January /MOLDPRES/- The government decision providing for a 10% increase in the salaries of employees in the public medical system will be published in the Official Journal of Moldova on 24 January.

The decision was adopted at the 22 January meeting by amending the Regulation on the remuneration of employees from public medical-sanitary institutions under the compulsory health care insurance system.

Under the decision, doctors, nurses and inferior medical staff, administrative-household staff, as well as management staff of the public medical institutions will get higher wages.

The decision will enter into force on April 1, 2020.

About 50 thousand employees from the medical system will benefit from increased salaries. Financial means worth 300 million lei are provided to this end.
