Chisinau, 23 January /MOLDPRES/ - The wharf-like custom checkpoint Molovata has ceased working because of the strong wind, which disturbs movement on the Dniester river.
According to the Customs Service, in these conditions, travelers are urged to opt for the domestic control customs checkpoint Criuleni 18, which is 32 km far from Molovata.
The other customs checkpoints work as normal.
The State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS) informed about a yellow code of strong wind for 22-23 January. According to meteorologists, on this period, gustings of the north-eastern wind are expected in most regions of Moldova, with a speed of up to 15-20 metres/second.
