Moldovan premier meets ambassador of Russia

Chisinau, 23 January /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Ion Chicu today had a meeting with Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Russia to Moldova Oleg Vasnetsov, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.

The officials tackled a wide range of subjects on the bilateral agenda, especially the ones on the commercial and economic relations.

The PM and the ambassador discussed also intentions of the Eurasian Development Bank to finance, in general, investment initiatives in Moldova and, in particular, the construction of an agro-industrial logistic hub.

Ion Chicu confirmed the cabinet’s intention to actively back the investments in the national economy, especially the ones in industrialization and modernization.
