Moldovan president held discussion with European Commission President

Chisinau, 24 January /MOLDPRES/- Before opening International Leaders Forum dedicated to Holocaust Remembrance, President Igor Dodon had a brief informal discussion with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.

According to the presidential press service, the officials exchanged views on several topical issues on the agenda of relations between Moldova and the European Union. They agreed to continue the dialogue in order to establish some objectives of bilateral cooperation, including implementation of the most important reforms by our country.

Dodon assured Mrs Ursula von der Leyen that the current government is determined to meet all commitments on European integration, including signed international agreements. Also, he said that we will continue to promote a balanced foreign policy.
