Moldovan parliament speaker has meeting with director of National Centre for Personal Data Protection

Chisinau, 24 January /MOLDPRES/ - Parliament Speaker Zinaida Greceanii today met the director of the National Centre for Personal Data Protection, Eduard Raducan. The officials discussed difficulties from the institution’s work and proposals to improve the Centre’s functioning, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.
The sides emphasized the importance to improve the legislation regulating the concerned field, in order to facilitate the framework conditions of the Centre’s activity, while taking into account the good practices of the European states.
The officials also noted that the cooperation with the other competent institutions of Moldova and from abroad was significant.
The discussions took place in the context of meetings of Parliament Speaker Zinaida Greceanii with representatives of the institutions which report to the parliament. Their goal is to identify problems and priorities for medium term, before the parliament’s spring session.
