Moldovan president meets Chisinau general mayor

Chisinau, 25 January /MOLDPRES/ - President Igor Dodon on 24 January had a meeting with Chisinau general mayor Ion Ceban, the presidential press service has reported.

The sides discussed more issues on Moldovan capital’s modernization plan, including the allocation of more than 300 million lei for the restoration of roads this year, as well as the restoration of about ten parks and squares in the next months. The interlocutors tackled also subjects on the implementation of investment projects.

At the same time, Ion Ceban informed Igor Dodon about the continuation of the process of evacuation of unauthorized objects. Thus, 236 booths working illegally have been evacuated and 452 illegally placed street advertising panels have been taken down so far.

The sides also discussed the social system from the Chisinau municipality. In this respect, the officials reiterated that all needed measures should be undertaken, in order not to allow the increase in tariffs.
