Spring-like air temperatures expected in Moldova in last week of January

Chisinau, 26 January /MOLDPRES/ - The last days of January will be characterized by spring-like air temperatures; sunny days are expedcted, without essential precipitation.

According to the State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS), the air temperatures will oscillate between +4 and +12 Celsius degrees during the day. At night, the air temperatures will vary between 0 and +5 degrees.

On 28 January, short rains are possible in the central and southern Moldova. Sources from the Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment Ministry have told MOLDPRES that precipitation was most awaited namely in these regions, as most grounds compromised by the weather conditions, especially the drought, are in this part of the country.
