New director of National Public Health Agency appointed in Moldova

Chisinau, 27 January /MOLDPRES/ - The new director of the National Public Health Agency (ANSP) is Nicolae Furtuna, who has earlier acted as ANSP deputy director. The Health Labour and Social Protection Ministry made statements to this effect today.
"Following the results of the contest carried out for holding the public office of director of the National Public Health Agency, Nicolae Furtuna won the contest,” according to the competent ministry’s official webpage. .
Three candidates registered for the contest held on 21 January and Furtuna was nominated to be the best.
Nicolae Furtuna graduated from the Nicolae Testemitanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy; Furtuna made his internship at the Ungheni-based hygiene and epidemiology centre. Nicolae Furtuna trains for doctor’s degree at the National Public Health Centre and during 2015-2017, he studied at the school of management in public health of the Nicolae Testemitanu University.
