Moldovan foreign affairs minister attends session of Moldova-USA working group on rule of law state and good governance

Chisinau, 27 January /MOLDPRES/ - Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Aureliu Ciocoi today participated with a speech in the opening of the second session of the joint working group on rule of law state and good governance, within the Moldova – USA Strategic Dialogue, along with Justice Minister Fadei Nagacevschi, U.S. Deputy Assistants Secretary of State Jorgan Andrews and Alan Purcell, as well as Ambassador of the United States to Moldova, Dereck Hogan, the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s public diplomacy, strategic communication and media interaction service has reported.
In his speech, Minister Ciocoi reiterated the Moldovan government’s firm commitment to strengthen the rule of law state and reform the justice, highlighting the correlation between an efficient and impartial justice and the state’s reliability in the relations with the foreign partners. At the same time, Ciocoi expressed appreciations for the support provided by the USA to implement the crucial reforms for Moldova’s development.
The Moldovan diplomacy head pointed out the need of the platform of the Moldova – USA Strategic Dialogue for consolidating the bilateral cooperation, which contributes including to the strengthening of the democratic institutions from Moldova.
