Moldovan president meets diplomatuic staff representatives

Chisinau, 28 January /MOLDPRES/- President Igor Dodon had a traditional meeting with accredited ambassadors to Moldova on Monday, heads of missions and representatives of international organizations.
According to the presidential press service, during the meeting the head of state approached three issues of major interest. The president addressed the country's internal policy and the government's intentions to take concrete steps to enhance the living standards of people by implementing major infrastructure projects.
Dodon noted that effective collaboration between president, speaker and premier creates a good opportunity to continue successfully promoting the changes taking place in the country, so that they can be felt by the citizens.
Another issue was related to the foreign policy of the state. The president reconfirmed the intention of the current government to continue promoting the balanced foreign policy between East and West.
Also, Igor Dodon reiterated that the country's leadership will meet all commitments to the external partners, including the implementation of key reforms.
In another context, officials talked about the evolution and prospects for the settlement of the Transnistrian conflict.
