Chisinau hosts meeting of working groups for car transport, road infrastructure

Chisinau, 28 January /MOLDPRES/- A new meeting of the working groups for the development of car transport and road infrastructure was held with the participation of experts on both banks of the Dniester and representatives of mediators and observers in the 5 + 2 negotiation format, at the OSCE Mission headquarters in Chisinau, the Bureau for Reintegration has reported.

The talks were focused on issues related to the functionality of the registration points of vehicles in Tiraspol and Rabnita, exchange of the driving licenses in the national model, ways of solving some difficulties in order to optimize the activity of the aforementioned points.

Regarding the issue on driving licenses, the experts from Chisinau reiterated that although they are not subject to the regulation of the Protocol Decision of 24 April 2018, Chisinau is willing to provide the service of changing the driving licenses to the national model within the registration points of vehicles from Tiraspol and Râbnița.
