Price of mandatory health insurance policy not increase in Moldova

Chisinau, 28 January /MOLDPRES/ - The price of the mandatory health insurance policy will not increase. A lawmaker of the Party of Socialists (PSRM), Vladimir Odnostalco, made statements to this effect today.

”The cost of the health insurance policy will not grow; on the contrary, the governance considers possibility to increase the range of medical services provided based on the health policy,” Odnostalco said.

The cost of the mandatory health insurance policy is of 4,056 lei. The people who are insured individually till 31 March 2020 will be able to buy the policy with a price cut of 50-75 per cent.

The farmland owners benefit from a 75-per cent price cut till 31 March and pay 1,014 lei. The citizens who are not employed will pay 2,028 lei.
