Almost 4,000 dwellings purchased through First Home programme in Moldova

Chisinau, 28 January /MOLDPRES/ - There are 3,945 beneficiaries of the First Home state programme.
According to the latest data, the overall sum of loans provided by banks is of 1,980,501,611.86 lei and the total sum of active guarantees is of 990,250,805.93 lei, the Finance Ministry has said.
Out of the 3,945 beneficiaries, 2781 are families and 1,182 are young unmarried people. At the same time, 556 out of all the programme’s beneficiaries enjoy compensations within the First Home 2 programme, meant for the public sector employees. The persons maintaining more minor children (First Home 3) also benefit from state budget compensations – their number standing at 1,377 people. As many as 253 beneficiaries of the programme, who are employed in private companies (First Home 4), also benefit from state budget allocations.
The average area of the dwellings bought through the programme is of 60.033 square metres and their average value is of 591,400 lei. As many as 3,713 dwellings were purchased in urban zones and 250 – in rural ones. A number of 3,651 of them are flats and 312 – private houses.
