Made in Moldova 2020 exhibition launched in Chisinau

Chisinau, 29 January /MOLDPRES/ - About 500 native producers participate in the 19th issue of the Fabricat in Moldova 2020 (Made in Moldova 2020) national exhibition. The event was launched today and will be held at the Moldexpo international exhibition centre till 2 February.
This year edition of the biggest goods exhibition from Moldova titled, At Home! Authentic! Native!, is organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), under the patronage of the government, in partnership with the Investments Agency and the Organization for the Small and Medium Enterprises Sector Development (ODIMM).
Attending the opening of the Made in Moldova 2020 exhibition was the entire cabinet of ministers for the first time ever. According to Prime Minister Ion Chicu, this is a sign of respect for all those who have chosen to work and produce at home. The PM reminded about the extension of the First Home project, or according to the official, those who think to make a house in the country are just those who back the country’s development. ”I invite you to the Made in Moldova exhibition. This is the event where we can see the worthiest people from the country, those who work and produce in Moldova, those whom we should everybody support,” Ion Chicu stressed.
Nineteen collective stands are registered at the current issue – for 18 district councils and the Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia. Products and services presented by more than 460 native entrepreneurs are exhibited in all three pavilions and in the area opened on the territory of the exhibition centre. The participants are from various branches of the national economy: food industry, wine and vine branch, furniture industry, light industry, equipments, technology and apparatus, scientific research institutions and other fields.
“This exhibition is a good possibility especially for the local public authorities. We have many special producers in districts, small, but promising enterprises, which are worth being backed and promoted by such an important platform as Made in Moldova. These business people support the local economy and developed settlements, regions, including economically, means a developed country,” the head of the economics department at the Causeni district council, Natalia Nasco, has said.
The exhibition is also an opportunity for private entrepreneurs, who managed to start a business.
The 2020 issue of the Made in Moldova exhibition includes a collective stand represented by entrepreneurs from Romania and Bashkortostan (Russia). Also, a special placement of ecologically safe products was organized at this edition for the first time ever. ”We want by this fact to inform consumers from the country, as well as from abroad that there are organic products in Moldova and they are made by our Moldovans,” the president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Sergiu Harea, said.
As usual, the exhibition’s agenda sees more business forums, seminars, training sessions, workshops, supported by public institutions from Moldova and development partners.
