Chisinau, 30 January /MOLDPRES/- The government decision on approving the Regulation on continuing airworthiness of aircraft and aeronautical products, parts and devices and authorizing companies and staff with responsibilities in the tasks will be published in the Official Journal of Moldova on 31 January.

The regulation was worked out by the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure, in collaboration with the Civil Aviation Authority and fully transposes the provisions of the regulation of the European Commission. The document sets out the technical requirements and the administrative procedures meant to ensure the airworthiness of aircraft, including any component for installation thereon.

The new regulation creates the necessary regulatory framework for establishing administrative procedures to ensure the airworthiness of aeronautical products, parts and devices, given the need to meet the essential requirements set out in the Air Code.

The control over the execution of the government decision was entrusted to the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure.
