Moldovan delegation on official visit to Council of Europe

Chisinau, 30 January /MOLDPRES/- Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Aureliu Ciocoi within the delegation led by President Igor Dodon paid an official visit to the Council of Europe (CoE) on 29-30 January, the MAEIE press service has reported.
During the visit, the Moldovan delegation had meetings with the leadership of the Council of Europe, including the Secretary General, President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), President of the Venice Commission, President of the European Court of Human Rights, PACE co-rapporteurs for R. Moldova. The talks were focused on the main issues on Moldova - CoE agenda, such as the justice reform, fight against corruption - the effective implementation of GRECO recommendations, the work of the ad-hoc group for justice reform.
Ciocoi had the opportunity to assure the sides of the firm commitment of Moldova to promote reforms in cooperation with the Council of Europe using valuable expertise.
