Moldovan parliament speaker has meeting with head of council for prevention, elimination of discrimination and ensuring quality

Chisinau, 3 February /MOLDPRES/ - Parliament Speaker Zinaida Greceanii today had a meeting with the head of the council for the prevention and elimination of discrimination and ensuring equality, Ian Feldman. The event took place within the round of meetings with representatives of the central specialty bodies of the public administration which report to the legislative body, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.   

The parliament speaker expressed openness for the amendment of the legislation, in order to ensure the human rights. “Ensuring the rights of all the residents of the country represents a priority for us and it is in our common interest to enhance the functionality of the public services system. Each civil servant should understand that real people with problems are behind the decisions and they need a friendly state which provides them equal chances,” Zinaida Greceanii said.   

The sides reviewed the situation in Moldova as to ensuring the equality and discussed proposals to improve the situation.
