Moldovan parliament starts ordinary session

Chisinau, 3 February /MOLDPRES/ - The 2020 ordinary spring session of the parliament starts on 3 February, under an instruction signed by Parliament Speaker Zinaida Greceanii.  

On 5 February, the parliament’s standing bureau will hold its first meeting of the spring session. The date of the parliament’s first plenary meeting is to be set by the standing bureau, after the draft agenda is prepared, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.    

At the same time, on 4 and 5 February, the standing commissions will hold meetings. 

Under the parliament’s regulation, the legislative body holds two ordinary sessions per year. The spring session starts in February and cannot exceed the end of July. The autumn session begins in September and cannot exceed the end of December.
