Two inter-ministerial cooperation agreements between Moldova, Hungary signed in Chisinau

Chisinau, 4 February /MOLDPRES/- Two inter-ministerial cooperation agreements between Moldova and Hungary were signed today in Chisinau, during a working visit of Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary Péter Szijjártó.
The two documents were signed by Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Aureliu Ciocoi and Corneliu Popovici, Minister of Education, Culture and Research. The documents set that next autumn about 40 Moldovan students will be able to access scholarships offered by the Hungarian state. Also, two Hungarian diplomats will provide assistance to MAEIE employees in implementing European legislation.
The Moldovan official said he talked to his Hungarian counterpart more issues related to boosting the Moldovan-Hungarian relations in various sectors of mutual interest, multilateral cooperation, as well as issues on regional and international developments. He said that today it is set out that in mid-May an inter-governmental meeting Moldova-Hungary will be held in Chisinau, which will be accompanied by a forum of businessmen.
Péter Szijjártó said that Hungary is a supporter of Moldova and is opting for EU enlargement, including by supporting the Eastern Partnership, where Moldova plays an important role.
The agenda of the Hungarian official's visit to Chisinau includes meetings with President Igor Dodon, speaker Zinaida Greceanii, Prime Minister Ion Chicu, Minister of Economy and Infrastructure Anatol Usatîi.
