Moldovan president has meeting with representatives of IMF's monitoring mission in Moldova

Chisinau, 4 February /MOLDPRES/ - President Igor Dodon today had a working meeting with the head of the monitoring mission of the International Monetary Fund in Moldova, Ruben Atoyan, and IMF Resident Representative in Moldova Volodymyr Tulin, the presidential press service has reported.
At the meeting, the sides exchanged opinions on the carrying out by the Moldovan authorities of the cooperation programme with IMF and expressed optimism about the programme’s successful completion by 20 March 2020.
At the same time, Igor Dodon discussed with the mission’s representatives opportunities of initiating a new programme with IMF. The head of state reiterated Moldova’s interest in an efficient cooperation with the international financial organizations, in order to ensure a sustainable development of the national economy.
Also, the Moldovan president expressed the current governance’s firm determination to continue implementing the reforms for the benefit of Moldova’s citizens.
