Dutch experts to train ANSA inspectors in Moldova

Chisinau, 5 February /MOLDPRES/- A Dutch mission in Salmonella control is in Moldova on 3- 7 February to monitor the situation in the sector and to conclude a project to increase the level of implementation of the official tasks of the National Food Safety Agency (ANSA).
The mission agenda was coordinated with the management of the institution. "The topic of the Dutch experts’ mission is very important, and the trainings due to be conducted throughout the week will strengthen the capacities of inspectors and doctors responsible for Salmonella control plan," ANSA director-general Vladislav Cotici said.
The G2G project - Increasing implementation of the official duties of the ANSA in Moldova - started in 2017. Its donor is the Government of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, and responsible for implementation - the Dutch Authority for food safety and consumer protection. During the project implementation period, the Agency of the Republic of Moldova benefited from institutional, sectoral and practical assistance.
