Moldovan cabinet approves system of sales' electronic monitoring

Chisinau, 5 February /MOLDPRES/ - The cabinet members, at a today’s meeting, approved a technical concept of the automated information system, Electronic Monitoring of Sales (SIA MEV).

Under the decision, the system’s goal is to create a single information resource, meant to receive information on the transactions made through check-out equipments, monitoring of sales and risks’ analysis.

At the same time, this automated information system fits the segment, Automated record of monetary and financial resources. “As component part of the electronic governance, SIA MEV will create an efficient mechanism of monitoring sales, enhancing the efficiency of taxes’ collection,” the concept approved by the cabinet reads.

The Finance Ministry will have the task to control the enforcement of this decision.
