Meteorologists announce yellow code of strong wind by 8 February

Chisinau, 6 February /MOLDPRES/- The State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS) announced yellow code of strong wind by 8 February.

According to meteorologists, on 6- 7 February, north-west wind intensifications will remain gusting up to 15-18 meters per second.

Under the conditions, rescuers recommend avoiding places where there are dry trees that present a risk of collapse or high voltage electrical wires.

The weather will cool down. According to SHS data, by the end of the week, throughout the country, the air temperature will drop below -3 degrees Celsius during the day. At night the frost will reach 13 degrees, and on 9 February the weather begins to warm.

If yellow code, the weather conditions are potentially dangerous, the forecast meteorological phenomena are common to the country, but may temporarily become dangerous for certain socio-economic activities.
