Moldovan president convenes Civil Society Council in new composition

Chisinau, 6 February /MOLDPRES/- President Igor Dodon today held a working meeting with heads of profile committees of the Civil Society Council under the President in new composition, the presidential press service has reported.

During the meeting, the priorities of the Council for this year were pointed out. Dodon voiced confidence that the members and its leadership will make maximum efforts to further strengthen the dialogue between the presidential team and civil society.

Also, the sides approached the situation in the country, including issues related to domestic and foreign policy and the social and economic development. Special attention was paid to the implementation of presidential initiatives in the social sector and infrastructure projects, as well as justice reform and fight against corruption.
